This is one of the easiest plants to grow. It does not give me a headache because of its easy-to-maintain structure. Garlic is one of the best vegetables for fall.

As we approach winter, it is the best way to prepare for the incessant rainfalls and excessively moist soil. Beyond agricultural facts, garlic is a nutritious plant. By adding garlic to your meals, you get exposed to several vitamins and nutrients that are good for your overall well-being.

Snow Peas

Snow peas need consistent water. Therefore, the best time to plant them is in October – when the hard dry soil is getting softened by the increased moisture in the ground. Also, ensure to water your peas to increase the growth rate consistently.

In addition to this, peas require extra fertilizers like phosphorus and potassium. I would not recommend peas to a beginner gardener. But if you are willing to put in the work, it’s a great pick.

Spinach

I love picking my spinach fresh from the garden. It’s a perfect alternative to the canned and frozen spinach cans in grocery stores. If you want your loved ones to enjoy the flavors of spinach vegetables, then plant it in your garden. It thrives in cooler temperatures making it a suitable pick for October.

It is easy to maintain, durable and can survive harsh weather conditions. Furthermore, lettuce is nutritious.

I have it in the ground already. You should plant it in October as summer officially comes to an end and FALL begins.

Dug out big ripe root of celery

If you want to harvest its stalks in December or January, then, it’s best to plant it NOW. October is the last chance you’ll ever get! Take advantage of that opportunity. Garnish your garden with this special vegetable plant. My experience with it has been satisfactory so far.
